Brian Moody
I am a proud husband, father, financial advisor, and lifelong student of personal and professional growth. My journey began in Biloxi, Mississippi, where I was born and raised as the son of an Air Force veteran and a dedicated stay-at-home mother. Growing up in a family of five children, I learned the values of hard work, accountability, loyalty, and compassion, which continue to shape my approach to life and work.
I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Finance, where I tutored finance students and contributed to the management of the alumni investment account. These experiences laid the foundation for my career as a financial advisor, which began in 2014 at Wells Fargo Advisors, where I continue to serve today. I am committed to helping my clients build and preserve their wealth with strategies rooted in diligence, expertise, and personalized service. At the heart of my life is my loving wife, Kristen, who is not only my partner in life but my greatest inspiration. Kristen is an amazing cook, baker, crafter, photographer, educator, mother, wife, and friend. She is intelligent, funny, beautiful, and incredibly creative. Her warmth and positivity are contagious, and she constantly motivates me and encourages me to be the best version of myself. Kristen’s eternal optimism, boundless love, and support make her the best decision I have ever made in my life.
After the birth of our first child, Kristen and I decided that she would leave her career as a public school teacher to focus on homeschooling our children. Since then, she has excelled beyond measure, creating a nurturing and educational environment for our family. Her patience, creativity, and dedication as a mother and teacher continue to amaze me daily. I am endlessly grateful for her role in our lives and the love she pours into everything she does.
Together, Kristen and I have been blessed with five beautiful children:
-Summerlyn (10): A talented cook, reader, and golfer who dreams of becoming a chef one day.
-Easton (8): A math enthusiast, avid gamer, and budding golfer who aspires to design video games,
work alongside me, or pursue professional golf.
-Charlotte (5): Full of energy, she loves dancing and caring for her younger siblings; she hopes to be
a dancer or gymnast.
-Elijah “Eli” (2): The curious one who loves exploring the house, napping, and eating.
-Olivia (12 weeks): The newest addition to our family, Olivia loves sleeping, eating, and soaking up
the affection of her mom.
Family is my first priority, and I cherish every moment spent with Kristen and our children. Outside of my work and family, I enjoy golfing, hunting, grilling, watching sports, and exploring creative hobbies like making homemade wine, salsa, jams, sausage, writing children stories for my children,
and more. While I do go to the gym, it’s not my favorite pastime-I save my true enthusiasm for spending time outdoors with my family.
I’m blessed with an extended family that inspires me daily. My parents modeled sacrifice, love, and diligence, shaping the foundation of who I am today. My sister’s-each remarkable in their own ways have pursued successful careers and built loving families. From educators and healthcare professionals to law enforcement and homemakers, they exemplify dedication and hard work.
Kristen and I moved to Bayou View in Gulfport after getting married, and in 2020, we returned to Biloxi to be closer to family during the pandemic. This community has always felt like home, and it’s a privilege to live, work, and raise my children here.
In my role as a financial advisor, I bring the same values I learned growing up: treating everyone with respect, working tirelessly to deliver results, and building long-term, meaningful relationships with my clients. I am proud to serve families, individuals, and businesses, helping them navigate their
financial journeys with care, expertise, and unwavering commitment. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your financial story-it’s a responsibility I take with the utmost seriousness and gratitude.
Know My Family
Family is the foundation of who I am, and I’m incredibly proud to share a bit about the amazing people who have shaped my life. My parents and siblings are not just my family; they’re my greatest inspirations, each demonstrating unique strengths, values, and accomplishments that continue to motivate me every day.
My Parents
My parents, who raised five children in Biloxi, Mississippi, are the bedrock of our family. My dad served in the United States Air Force for 21 years, embodying discipline, loyalty, and sacrifice throughout his career. His service instilled in me a deep respect for hard work and commitment. But beyond his dedication, my dad is my best friend. He was the best man in my wedding and remains the funniest guy I know. His sense of humor and lightheartedness have been a constant source of joy in my life.
I also blame him entirely for making me a diehard fan of professional sports teams that haven’t won a title in a very long time. Despite the heartbreak, those shared moments of cheering for our teams together remain some of my favorite memories.
My mom, a stay-at-home parent, dedicated her life to raising my four sisters and I, a job that required boundless patience, selflessness, and love. She is, without question, the best cook in the world, and her German heritage shines through in every dish she prepares. German food is my absolute favorite-though I may be biased. Her cooking is infused with love, care, and tradition, making every meal feel like a gift.
Together, my parents taught us the importance of accountability, perseverance, and treating everyone with respect, regardless of their title or background. Their sacrifices ensured we always had what we needed, and their unwavering support gave us the confidence to pursue our dreams. I owe my work ethic, values, and gratitude for life’s blessings to my parents, and I strive daily to
reflect on the lessons they’ve taught me.
My Siblings
I am blessed to have four incredible sisters, each of whom has taken the lessons we learned growing up and channeled them into remarkable lives and careers.
1.) Katrina Dwyer, Ph.D.
Katrina, the oldest, is the Assistant Principal at Biloxi Upper Elementary School. Her dedication to education and her students is inspiring. She’s a natural leader, bringing compassion and excellence to everything she does. Her husband, John Allen, is equally driven as Division Manager at Waffle House, overseeing nine locations. He’s also an amazing golfer-and one of the hardest-working people I know. Together, they are raising two boys who excel in baseball and golf. I’m incredibly proud of Katrina for her passion and perseverance in shaping the next generation.
2.) Elise Trowbridge
Elise, the second oldest, is a dedicated homemaker, wife, and mother living in Madison, Mississippi. I firmly believe that stay-at-home parenting is the most selfless and demanding job, and Elise does it with unmatched grace and dedication. She and her husband, Cole, are raising two talented daughters who excel in horseback riding and distance running. Cole works for the Mississippi Highway Patrol as the Director of Air Operations for the Department of Public Safety, embodying strength and service in everything he does. Elise’s devotion to her family and her ability to create a loving home inspire me deeply.
3.) Brittany Hicks, NP
Brittany works as a Nurse Practitioner at a Hematology/Oncology clinic alongside Dr. Allison Wall. Her attentiveness and kind heart make her an exceptional caregiver, and her ability to connect with patients is truly special. Her husband, Jimmy, is a Fire Captain with the Pascagoula Fire Department, and his dedication to protecting others is inspiring. They have two beautiful daughters who love hunting with their dad, cheering, and dancing. Brittany’s compassion and strength remind me daily of the impact one person can have on others.
4.) Lauren (My Twin)
Lauren, my twin sister, lives in Naples, Florida, with her husband, Nick, and their two young children. She is a Registered Nurse whose nurturing spirit and skill make her an incredible healthcare professional. Nick serves as Vice President of Operations at his company, a role that reflects his leadership and dedication to excellence. Though their kids are still very young, Lauren has already built a loving, supportive home. Being her twin has always been
special, and seeing her thrive in her life and career makes me incredibly proud.
My Extended Family
Beyond my immediate family, I’m fortunate to have aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and in-laws who enrich my life in countless ways. Each of them has unique talents and values that add to the fabric of our family. From educators and healthcare professionals to first responders and skilled professionals, their collective accomplishments remind me of the power of perseverance and love.
What My Family Means to Me
Every member of my family has shaped me in some way. Whether through their example of hard work, their support during challenges, or their accomplishments that inspire me to aim higher, I am who I am because of them. Knowing my family means understanding the values that drive me: faith, love, loyalty, and the belief in treating everyone with kindness and respect.
They are my greatest blessings and my biggest supporters, and I am immensely proud of all they’ve accomplished and continue to achieve. Sharing their stories with you is just a small way to honor the incredible people they are.
